I’ve gone nuts with Zooomr

Someone at work told me about this new photo sharing site called Zooomr that was giving away high capacity accounts. Since I was looking for a way to backup my photo’s and share them around the family and friends I thought I’d give it go.
My wife now wants to know if there is a support site for addicts.
I’d like to think I am just playing catch up and getting all my photos up on the server. Then, once most of them are there, things will calm down. That’s what I’d like to think.
I’d never actually bothered with such sites before being a basically private sort of person and the same goes for the Blog stuff. I needed a blog with a picture on it to get the free account so I bunged it together and forgot about it.
I was then busy uploading all my snaps from the recent Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade and was editing the description of the “Smartset” I had created to keep them all together. I looked at it and thought “you know Brian, that looks awful like a blog”.
So here I am starting an actual blog – meanwhile 100+ photos from the above event are slowly finding their way onto some far distant machine for the delight of millions of my fans.
This first entry is by way of saying hello to the world, be gently with me and please let me know if I get it all horribly wrong and make a bigger ass of myself than normal.
So, hi everyone!
